Need for an Aligned ESP Writing Course for Engineering Students

The English writing skills of engineering students in India is a tricky proposition. term- end university exams majorly test their ability but the focus more on oral communication to do well group discussions and interviews get placed. To add this, pressure domain subjects lack awareness about real need at workplace higher education contribute both neglect poor standard writing. University courses are not updated frequently proper needs analysis done. produces largest number engineers annually. paper argues for mechanism continuously update course by aligning views all stakeholders. It also recommends granting autonomy flexibility ESP teachers draft new or modify existing which will be as per academic needs.
